Position Status:     Permanent - Full Time Plant Operator - Roads Maintenance  

Hours of Work:      7am to 4pm (during summer 6:30am to 3:30pm), 38 Hour week with RDO every fortnight.

About the Opportunity

We are searching for enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Roads Maintenance team as a Plant Operator. 

This position undertakes plant operation duties as part of Road Works and general Earth Works for the Roads Maintenance section. Applicants will be experienced in the operation of general plant items which can include excavator, loader, roller, trucks, road rangers' trucks, tippers & graders. Applicants must have relevant experience operating one or more of the listed plant items, hold a White Card, and possess (or be willing to obtain within a reasonable timeframe) a current minimum HR licence

You may currently work in the roads sections and are looking to progress or work within another department with Council and have transferable skills! We encourage you to apply for these vacancies and gain the opportunity to complete a Certificate III in Civil Construction - Plant Operation along with gaining higher class truck licences and other relevant plant tickets.
